Adblocking

Figured I'd make this a page since it's so imperative to use ad-blocking software if you want to safely view streams nowadays. Free video streaming hosts allow some of the worst ads on the web, with advertisers telling blatant lies about you having viruses/malware to get you to buy their malware infested software, saying you need software updates with intentions of getting you to download trojans, the list goes on. And they're layered 5 deep so its impossible to tell where to click. Ad-blocking software makes it infinitely easier to safely navigate.

There are ad-blocking add-ons for just about every modern browser out there, I tend to use Google Chrome, but there are add-ons available for IE, Safari, Firefox, Opera, etc.

Below is an example of what the stream looks like without adblocking software installed, followed by the same stream while Adblock is running.
This is a screen-captured video of the wiz1.net video link without any adblocking software installed. Notice: 1) how many freaking ad's there are and 2) how clicking the 2 buttons used to close out the ads actually open a pop-up. That's because there are invisible ad-layers on top of the frame.

Now here's the same link but with adblocking software installed. Just click the red "CLOSE", then click the "X" up top once it hits 5 seconds or lower. No pop-ups, no bullshit. Some sites you may not even have to close out the ads, the software blocks them all for you. Just be sure to whitelist ad-supported sites you like, like pcbb1917.com and others. You can do so by browsing to their page, then click your adblocking add-ons icon in the top right, then "Don't run on this page".

It takes all of 30 seconds to get up and running and will make viewing these streams much safer. Just google "(your browser) adblock" to get started.
